I have never expected to change a car tire before even passing my driving test. But I just did it together with my bunch of friends yesterday without the help of anyone. It feels good.
Haha.
Dee and me were so excited when Zhiwei’s car tire puncture. The first thing that came to our head was " Let’s do what papa always do. Change the tire! Very easy ma."
Some more not too long ago, i asked my dad if changing the car tire is like changing my bro’s toy car tire and he said yes. So it was just taking out the bolts, change tire, and put back the bolts.
Hehe.
So dee and me went to the boot, to find for the spare tire. zhi wei didn’t know that all this while there was a spare tire in her boot. So when we found it, we didn’t know how to take it out because it was screwed to the car. Luckily dee found the bolter to unscrew the tire from the boot. And that was when we started to have fun!
Keehao and jimmy helped carry the tire. Luckily it was quite light. Dee grabbed the hydraulic lifter (pump? whatever it is called), and pump pump and pump. Then she had no more strength, so jimmy took over. Then Jimmy tired, so huey wen took over. I was just watching and giving support and taking pictures. hehe. There were people stopping by to see what were we up to. But none stop to help. We are true Malaysians.
Then after the car was lift, Keehao wanted to unscrew the tire but we didn’t know which way to unscrew it. And it was so tight. But thanks to a good malay uncle, we suddenly heard some one said "kiri". Then we were like " owh, ok! kiri kiri! " But keehao had no strength to unscrew it, then the magical voice came again, this time it was " pijak! ". So everyone told keehao to step on the bolter, and Huey wen supported him just in case he falls.
When the tire was out and the new tire was in, we felt so happy! It was like " Yay! I can’t believe we actually did it! WooHoo! " Most of our hands were so dirty. I think the uncle was impressed our gang did it because we look so young and childish..We proved to the world that we stupid teenagers can at least change a tire. We are not useless! This is big deal. Haha. Of course we thanked the good uncle.
Then each of us went to Sakae Sushi at Bangsar Village to celebrate our achievement. And each of us told our parents, so that they will feel proud of us.
